I have lived in North Ascot for 25 years and having recently retired from a career in procurement have the capacity to do more for the community. In the time I have lived in the area I have enjoyed the easy access to the countryside for walking and cycling. I am keen to try and maintain this to ensure that any developments are in keeping with the sylvan environment we currently enjoy. Serving on the executive committee of SPAE (Society for the Protection of Ascot and the Environs) with a particular interest in planning has given me an opportunity to cultivate this.
I currently volunteer for the National Trust in their gardening team where we are looking at hardier more drought resistant plants.
