MAKE A DIFFERANCE, BECOME A COUNCILLOR!

Would you like to get involved and make a difference in your local community?

Sunninghill & Ascot Parish Council has overall responsibility for the wellbeing of our local community.  We have a vacancy for a councillor and are looking for enthusiastic and engaged members of the community to put themselves forward for co-option onto the parish council.

As a parish councillor you can become a voice for your community and make real change. Parish councillors are the champions of their community who invest time in local projects and issues to the benefit of residents and the neighbourhood.

Parish councillor responsibilities fall into three main categories:
• Decision-making
• Monitoring
• Getting involved locally

Parish councillors attend to local needs of residents, local groups and businesses, collaborate with district and borough councils on local services and adherence to local needs, and progress vital projects to invest in the future of the community.
