Play Areas Closure – Update

JULY 2020

After the revised government advice regarding the option for playgrounds and outdoor gym areas to be re-opened to the public from the 4 July, the Parish Council as owner and authority responsible for Victory Field, South Ascot Recreation Ground, Cheapside & Blythewood Playgrounds wish to let all residents and users know that the Playgrounds will remain closed past the 4 July.

Whilst we appreciate that you have all missed spending time in the playground, we must ensure that users of the play and gym equipment do so in a safe manner.

To that end, the council team are currently carrying out risk assessments based upon the government advice found in details on this link HERE

Please be patient with us, we will open the playgrounds as soon as we can ensuring that all users can enjoy it safely.
