As Chairman of Sunninghill & Ascot Parish Council, I wish to express, on behalf of all its councillors and Parishioners, great sadness at the news of the passing of our late Sovereign, Queen Elizabeth the Second.

Our deepest condolences are offered to all members of the Royal Family.

Our mourning at this time is shared by people across the globe, as we remember with affection and gratitude the lifetime of service given by our longest service Monarch.

Our flags will be lowered to half-mast in honour of Her Majesty and preparations are in place to open a Book of Condolence.

May Her Majesty Rest in Peace.
