About the Fayre

We are thrilled that the Sunninghill Street Fayre will return to the High Street on Sunday 16 November.

It will run from 12 noon to 4 pm, with Sunninghill High Street transformed into a busy Street Fayre. It is an opportunity for local businesses, community groups, schools and other local organisations to showcase themselves. The event starts with a parade down the High Street led by the Town Crier and a Pipe Band.

There will be market stalls and food outlets along the High Street, interspersed with children’s rides and other entertainment including Father Christmas in his grotto at Cordes Hall.

The aim of the event is two fold: to raise vital funds for local organisations and to raise awareness of the village of Sunninghill and its fine selection of unique and interesting shops and businesses. We are delighted that so many of the local businesses are continuing to support the 2025 Sunninghill Street Fayre which, as well as raising funds for local charities, brings visitors to the village and helps to maintain the vitality and viability of Sunninghill Village as a retail centre.

A park and ride mini bus shuttle service, provided by Ascot Day Centre, will be available from Ascot Racecourse’s Car Park 6, which will take you directly to the grounds of the Marist School on Kings Road.  Other parking is also available in The Marist School’s grounds.

Getting to the fayre!

PARK AND RIDE

As part of our commitment to providing a seamless experience for our visitors, the volunteer drivers of Ascot Day Centre’s minibuses will be providing a Park & Ride shuttle service from Ascot High Street, Car Park 6 to the Marist School grounds in Sunninghill. This service will enable you to avoid the hassle of searching for parking nearby.

The Park & Ride service will commence at 11:30 am from Car Park 6 and will run approximately every half-hour throughout the event. The last bus back to Ascot High Street will depart from the Marist School grounds at 5 pm. To make your experience as enjoyable as possible we will try to keep waiting times to a minimum and ask for your patience should a short wait be necessary.

Car Park 6 is located at the east end of Ascot High Street (A329) adjacent to the Maserati dealership.

Donations can be made in support of this service, the proceeds of which will go to the Ascot Day Centre who have kindly facilitated this Park & Ride service.  A collection bucket will be on board each bus. Please give generously. Hop on board and enjoy all the fun of the Sunninghill Street Fayre!

Parking

Our sincere appreciation goes to the Marist School for granting us permission to use their premises for parking, giving visitors to the Street Fayre just a short walk to Sunninghill High Street.

It is our pleasure to once again be collaborating with the Rotary Club of Ascot, whose members will be on hand to ensure smooth operations.  There will be a small charge for these parking facilities with proceeds of all parking fees collected going directly to support the Rotary’s charitable causes.

Our gratitude goes out to the Marist School and Ascot Rotary for their generosity and partnership in making this event a success.

Disabled Parking sign

Anyone requiring disabled parking please use designated bays which are available in the car park located on School Road in Sunninghill.

Although Sunninghill High Street will be closed, you can still easily access the car park by turning off School Road into Oriental Road, onto Upper Village Road and then taking a left turn into School Road.  We would like to kindly request all users to park considerately to ensure the safety and accessibility of all designated bays. We appreciate your cooperation.

Santa will be visiting the Grotto at Cordes Hall – further details about how to book a visit will be available here in due course.

Take part in the prize draw at Sunninghill Street Fayre 2025! This is a fantastic opportunity for you to win not only a wonderfully cuddly Billy Bear but also a voucher for afternoon tea for two at the beautiful Coworth Park Hotel!

This prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.

To participate, all you need is to visit four locations and collect stamps on your card. Don’t miss out, make sure you visit Santa’s Grotto in Cordes Hall, Avery Ascot Grange our Headline Sponsor’s stall on the High Street, the Coworth Park horsebox located outside Duncan Yeardley, and the Coworth Park refreshment area within the Day Centre.

Once you have all four stamps, fill in your contact details on the card and drop it in the special box located at any of the above sites.

The draw will take place in the week commencing 17 November, so make sure to fill in your details correctly. We will notify you if you happen to be the lucky winner!
