Tree Works at Blythewood Nature Reserve

Tree works will shortly be carried out at Blythewood Nature Reserve.

These scheduled works are part of the Parish Council’s ongoing Woodland Management Plan, which aims to enhance the habitat value of the area by retaining important habitat trees and thinning close grown areas to allow more light into the forest floor.  Thereby encouraging plants to grow and providing a great range of insects and birds with a food source.

Every care will be taken to ensure that no nesting birds are disturbed.
