The Baby Bank is a local charity that helps families within the community.
They aim to provide essentials to families in need with new and preloved baby and child-related items. They work alongside a large network of healthcare professionals, family support workers, schools, and other charities to give families a helping hand when they are experiencing hardship.
Despite the name, they support newborn babies up to teenage years with items such as clothing and uniform to beds and buggies.
Last year they helped over 3500 babies and children with essential items. From somewhere safe to sleep, to activities to keep them occupied through lockdown and home schooling.
