Cordes Hall Cinema is back!

There will be regular Cinema weekends at Cordes Hall, Sunninghill, starting on Friday 10th September.

The films for the first re-opening weekend are:

Friday 10th September:

8.00 pm  Nomadland (12A).  The excellent Frances McDormand won the Oscar for Best Actress and the film also won the Oscar for Best Film in 2020.  It’s thought-provoking about our society today but also joyous at times and definitely life-affirming.

Saturday 11th September:

11.00 am  Jungle Book (U) – the original classic.  What more do you need to know?  Kid’s Club is £1 for everyone unless you bring your own seat (pram) in which case it’s free.

3.00 pm   Military Wives (12A) – full of wonderful British actors and based on the choir sensation formed by Gareth Malone (and who doesn’t love Gareth Malone!).

7.00 pm   The Father (12) – be prepared to weep and this may come close to home.  But with the always watchable Olivia Coleman and Sir Anthony Hopkins you won’t want to miss this one.

Tickets remain at £5 per adult, under 16s are £3.  The bar will be stocked and welcoming and also accepting contactless.  A new online booking system will be coming very soon, by until the website bookings are functioning you can get tickets from Inspirations on Sunninghill High Street (cash only) or turn up the door and cash or contactless are both welcome.
