The Litter Squad has had a very busy couple of weeks. We have taken on the length of Kings Ride, in and out of all the ditches and picking up countless discarded cans and hub caps. London Road has had a spruce up especially in the woods adjacent to the road where the natural habitat is carpeted over with plastic and cans.
With Spring’s official arrival we have been giving the flower meadows and the woods a deep clean ready for new growth. It’s been wonderful to see children out litter picking this weekend and also thanks to the dogs that guard our bagging efforts. With government restrictions lifting to allow groups of 6 to volunteer outside together responsibly we are looking forward to upping our game for a litter-free Parish
