Earlier this year Sunninghill & Ascot Parish Council formed a joint working party with Sunningdale Parish Council to work together to improve infrastructure and encourage leisure and active travel.
The RBWM has started their Big Conversation on Active Travel looking for your ideas to help shape walking & cycling improvements. Active Travel, reducing use of motor vehicles for shorter journeys, is an important part of RBWM’s Environment and Climate Strategy and also has personal benefits for our physical and mental health.
There is a drop-in session organised by RBWM to explain more about Active Travel and its themes in the Community Room at Sunningdale Parish Office on 8th September, 4pm-7pm. Parish Councillors from Sunninghill & Ascot Parish Council’s working group will be there as well.
