Do you walk your dog along the riverside at Windsor & Eton? With bird flu cases now found locally, DEFRA’S disease control zone is in place to minimise the spread and protect our swans, other waterfowl & commercial poultry flocks.
Dog owners have a part to play. From Monday 10 January dogs must be kept on leads along the riverbanks at Windsor and Eton, including adjacent grassy areas such as The Brocas.
This gives you more control over pets & reduces the risk of dogs involved with potentially-infected bird mess on the riverbanks & spreading the infection via their feet. Thank you.
